As a originally-created video-sharing hub, YouTube is created for people to share and to discover. It was founded by three former PayPal employees in 2005 and acquired by Google as its subsidiary in 2006. Most of YouTube videos are free to view, but some are charged for a monthly fee by content providers. Videos considered to contain potentially offensive content are available only to registered users of 18 years of age or older.
